Hippies

I am partial to nature. I guess you can say I am hippie of sorts. I like manicured gardens...I guess.  They are pretty, and well planned out...and nice.  But don't you think that nature is beautiful all on its own...without our help?   I do.  We found a lovely nature preserve near our home.  We had lunch, and explored!  Beauty was everywhere. My favorite color is green, and man oh man was it GREEN!  They mow the grass to allow a path for you to walk through, and let nature be...well nature!  I was in heaven...we all were!  I had to restrain myself, as to not run around barefoot, and bang on a bongo drum or something!

Grace

We had our lovely cousin Grace out for a visit last week. She is fabulous and we <3 her!  We drank coffee, went shopping, spotted awesome wall murals that I had never seen before, ate Philly Cheese Steaks, and had an amazing time.  She is so beautiful, warm, sweet and exemplifies the love of Christ! We just cannot wait to see her again! Grace, thank you for your visit!!!!!!!  Jade said to me the other day, "where'd Grace go????"  So you must plan another trip! We have H&M!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I am included a picture of Hazel sneaking a drink of my iced coffee!!! It justs isn't RIGHT!  That's what I get for raising them on Starbucks and coffee houses!  NOTE: 4 year olds drinking coffee is strongly discouraged!

Farmer's Market

 Hazel: Happy to have picked up delicously sweet strawberries and Blue Cheese.

   Jade: Loved the iced tea with fresh mint, and whoopie pie purchased from a nice Amish woman.

     Joe: Bacon, ribs, and sweet potatoe pie!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Mon: All the beautiful, green, lush, and delicious vegetables her heart could ever desire (actually this is a win-win for everyone!!)

Beautiful Saturdays together are rare, so we have enjoyed the day to it's fullest!!

Princeton

We were in New Jersey meeting dear friends from California...

So on the way home we decided to make a detour and visit the town of Princeton, New Jersey. Joe had heard from a friend that the University and town were lovely so we decided an impromptu visit was in order. We had a beautiful time admiring the beautiful architecture and scenic walking pathways. It was a nice day, despite the on and off again rain storms! We hope to return on a sunny day!!!
