Jadey the baby blimp

Poor Jade was way bundled up as we headed out to spread some Christmas cheer by delivering some Christmas cookies to a few neighbors. I had to take a picture, I mean come on....she looks like an adorable little blimp.

Merry Christmas loves!

Christmas Bliss...

Did you know it takes 10 years to grow a Christmas tree?  Neither did we, but we found that out at the Christmas farm where we chopped down our tree. Yes, we CHOPPED our own tree down. It was really fun.  We rode on a wagon led by two beautiful horses, through acres of trees. Some were small and we were told they were only 2 years old....it was interesting. We picked our tree because it had little pine cones on it, which mostly fell off...but we thought it was charming.  We drank hot cocoa, then went home and decorated it.  It was precious, that is all I can say. Simply precious.  God is so wonderful and he has blessed us so much.  We would like to wish you all a very, Merry Christmas.  Much love <3

(6) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Change of Name

Hazel entered the room excitedly proclaiming that she had spelled her name on her computer. Only she misplaced the Z.  I think it's because Z seems to be her favorite letter so she placed it first.  So we know refer to her as "ZHAEL".

Snow Angels

Our first snow of the winter came last week. It was beautiful! The girls loved being outside for a bit, enjoying the beauty of God's creation. Love to all :)

Breakfast with Santa.

This past weekend we had breakfast with Santa. Joe was catering the event with work at the Macy's in Philly. It was so fun. The girls even got to see Daddy in action. We had a lovely breakfast and it really solidified the Christmas season for us, with the decorations, music, and Santa. I don't think Jadey really liked Santa...I felt bad. I was called to help console her but it didn't work. All in all we had a fabulous time. We wish you a wonderful season and that it is focused on our saviors birth!

Why...

oh why must Hazel torment Jade so much. That is lotion in Jade's hair. Hazel claimed she was "doing" her hair.

Questions for Daddy.

After many, many hours of Daddy being away Hazel is eager to greet him with hugs and kisses. She hops on his lap and has many things to discuss. Such as, "Is Christmas really Jesus' birthday?", and "what's the difference between fairies and Angels?"...questions that only Daddy can answer.

"I'm rocking out"

She says that when we play music in the car and ferociously moves her head to and fro. I snapped these pictures of her rocking out on a rocking chair. That chair is really special because Joe's sweet Grandmother, Rosemary gave it to us. It was Joe's childhood rocking chair, and it is so priceless to me!
