The Cooking Gene...

Hazel's got it!!

The other day we woke up as we usually do all together. I was like Okay, time for me to get ready for work... And Hazel got ready, and said, Let's go Dad! I said well I have to ask my boss if its okay.. So we got the OK and Hazel came to work with me on her birthday. She packed her apron, got her knife(yes, she has her own knife and knows how to use it), it had its own carrying case too, and put on her crocs. Off we went.... I have to admit, I was bit skeptical as to how this was all gonna go down. Good idea in theory, but reality is another deal.... Well after some cocoa and danishes from the local bakery, we got down to business. Hazel was all business. We diced up 20 chicken breasts, peeled a dozen onions, started two stocks, cooked 3 lbs. of udon noodles, even rubbed down some pork loin. She definitely suprised me, she worked with me for a good 2 hours. In kid time, thats like 12 hours... She's got a little Chef goin on!
