Happy Birthday Hazel Rei!

Hazel: Walk down memory lane.

Four years ago, God brought us our sweet, loveable, crazy, vivacious, beautiful baby girl. Hazel is super excited to be four. We are so lucky to have her in our lives. She is constantly a reminder of God's promises and His goodnesss because she was born on our third wedding anniversary.  Joe, Hazel, and I have a special bond on April 29th!  We love her so. She makes us laugh everyday and we just adore her!

Today, Hazel is spending the day with Daddy at work. This is something that she has been obsessed with for several weeks.  So, Joe promised to take her today on her birthday. So she left this morning with her orange knife and apron.  Hopefully I will have photos for you later!

I'm watching you.

While walking through our dining area, I saw Hazel through the corner of my eye. She was staring at me and gesturing something with her hands. Like this:

Slightly concerned, I said "What on earth are you doing, Hazel Rei?"  To which she replied, "I'm watching you mom!"  Where she learned this, I know not....what I do know is that she completely cracks me up every single day. 

Hazel is also completely out-of-this-world excited for her 4th birthday coming up in 5 days!  Join us for the countdown!

Let's just say that there are friends, and then there are FRIENDS.  Friends that you have seen Joe Dirt with at the movies, and have spent endless Friday nights studying at starbucks with, friends that you have millions of inside jokes with that nobody else on earth would think are even remotely funny,  friends that call your mom to see how she is....you know FRIENDS.  The girls and I are used to spending the weekends alone, which is fine, but sometimes we need a little something different. Well Nadia showed up and made our weekend marvelous!  Nadia, thank you for a beautiful visit!!!!! You are a total gem!  You are a wonderful friend and brightened up the weekend for the girls and I. God has blessed you in our lives!  <3 you.  See you in NYC :) oh and HOLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEERRRR.

Beauties

Hazel and Danny

They both have an "abuelita",which is really cool! They love to run around and try to climb trees. It seems as if they were instant buddies. It was so cute to see them having so much fun. Friendships are amazing when you are that young. It's mostly like, "you like to run around?", "cool me too!"...and a new friendship has began. I also might add, that I love the dynamics between the girl/boy friendship...there is no drama. It is great!!! Hazel has been blessed with a few other little buddies from our new playgroup that are mostly boys.  It is so great to see them all having fun together!

And here is my little peanut! She is mostly shy and stays close to mommy!
